Thanks from Sierra Vista for Back to School Night help

I wanted to express my gratitude for all of the support the community showed during our recent “Back to School Night” at Sierra Vista Elementary School.

We had several hundred parents and students attend this important event at our school. But, what was even more amazing were the many community organizations that took time out of their busy schedules to set up booths, pass out information or donate items to both parents and students. Having the community involved in education shows parents and students that, in Madera, “We ALL Believe” in the future of our children!

Thank you to the following organizations:

Madera County Library, Madera County Behavioral Health, Women Infants & Children (WIC), Central Valley Opportunity Center (CVOC), Nurture 2 Nurture, Community Action Partnership of Madera County-Victim Services, Madera County Health Department, Madera Unified Migrant Parent Resource Center, Calfresh, Madera Auto Center, Knights of the Shield and Madera City Councilman Donald Holley.
