Obituary: Jessie Nieto Alvarado Gutierrez

Jessie Nieto Alvarado Gutierrez was born to Juan Nieto and Inez Vargas on April 25, 1920 in Famoso, California and passed away at age 98 on August 5, 2018 in Madera, California. Jessie was a Madera County resident for 48 years. Through out her life she worked in many different jobs, but she retired from Olberti Olives.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Juan and Inez Nieto both born in Mexico, Seven siblings, two husbands; Joe T. Alvarado and Marcelino Gutierrez, daughter; Amelia Zuniga, son; Robert (Bobby) Gutierrez, and son in law Walter Lupe Chavira.

Jessie is survived by her son’s; Pastor Samuel J. Alvarado and his wife Beatrice of Madera, Rolando R. Alvarado and his wife Francisca of San Jose,Joe G. Alvarado and his wife Mary Ellen of Modesto, Vincent Gutierrez and his wife Patricia of Madera.

Daughter; Mary Ellen Nieto and her husband Steve of Bakersfield, Daughter in-law Lilly Gutierrez of Madera and Son in-law Ramon Zuniga of Madera.

She also leaves behind her 16 Grandchildren, 59 Great grand Children, as well as 39 Great Great Grandchildren. Her memory will be cherished by family and friends.

Services where held on Friday, August 10, 2018 with a wake service officiating by Pastor Steve Alvarado at The River Worship Center, where Jesse was a member located at 26247 Ellis St. Madera, Ca

Internment was held on Saturday, August 11, 2018, at Calvary Cemetery.
