Letter: One way to target mosquitoes

First, if you are infested with mosquitoes like most of us, call Mosquito Abatement at 662-8880. There is a very professional understanding gentleman who will answer your questions.

He will also send someone to your property and spray at no charge.

When I asked, why don’t you do aerial spraying anymore he answered, “Because it’s not in our budget.” I have been saying each year there are more mosquitoes. Now I know why.

My suggestion is take some of our water increase money that is probably going to raises and increased insurance rates; give a portion to the Mosquito Abatement so aerial spraying can be reinstated.
