31 cadets to graduate from Police Academy

Jonathan Espinoza of Madera and 30 other cadets will graduate from the Fresno City College Police Academy at 5 p.m. Friday in the Fresno City College Auditorium.

The graduates have successfully passed the academy’s curriculum and are eligible to be hired as a police officer, deputy sheriff or district attorney investigator anywhere in California. Several other states recognize this certificate for employment.

The rest of the graduating cadets and their hometowns are:

  • Calexico:  Celia Romero.

  • Coalinga: Cesar Gomez.

  • Dos Palos: Emeterio Cuevas.

  • El Centro: Michael Cortez.

  • Firebaugh: Alejandro Olivera.

  • Fresno: Juliana Castano, Annabel Fregoso, Heriberto Martinez-Torres, Antonio Rivera, and Thayeng Vang.

  • Grover Beach: Timothy Chapman.

  • Hanford: Alex Navarro.

  • Kingsburg: Shanell Caudel.

  • Lindsay: Linda Jimenez.

  • Mendota: Aurelio Romero.

  • Planada: Ramiro Moreno.

  • Porterville: Juan Garcia.

  • Reedley: Stephanie Chavez and Jonathan George.

  • Salinas: Sarah Madison.

  • San Jose: Alejandro Aguilar.

  • Sanger: Jaime Mendoza.
