FRESNO, Calif. (AP) -- J.D. Davis drove in Alejandro Garcia with a sacrifice fly in the fifth inning, leading the Fresno Grizzlies to an 8-5 win over the New Orleans Baby Cakes on Thursday.
The sacrifice fly by Davis came in the midst of a six-run inning and gave the Grizzlies a 6-5 lead.
Later in the inning, Tony Kemp scored on a passed ball and Juan Centeno hit an RBI single.
Centeno singled three times, driving home two runs for Fresno.
Jacob Dorris (2-0) got the win in relief while Kelvin Marte (1-5) took the loss in the Pacific Coast League game. James Hoyt recorded his second save of the season.
Fresno took advantage of some erratic New Orleans pitching, drawing a season-high 12 walks in its victory.
