WEST SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) -- Jon Kemmer had three hits and scored two runs, and David Martinez allowed just four hits over 7 1/3 innings as the Fresno Grizzlies topped the Sacramento River Cats 4-2 on Sunday.
Kevin Comer got Ali Castillo to hit into a double play with a runner on first to end the game for his fifth save of the season.
Martinez (5-7) picked up the win after he struck out five and walked three while allowing two runs.
Sacramento started the scoring in the first inning when Chris Shaw hit a two-run home run.
After Fresno scored a run in the fourth on a double by Tyler White, the Grizzlies took the lead for good with two runs in the fifth inning. Teoscar Hernandez and Preston Tucker both drove in runs en route to the one-run lead.
The Grizzlies tacked on another run in the ninth when Reid Brignac hit an RBI single, driving in Kemmer.
Matt Gage (0-1) went five innings, allowing three runs and eight hits while striking out one in the Pacific Coast League game.
Fresno improved to 11-4 against Sacramento this season.
