Villanueva's home run leads El Paso over Fresno in 10 innings

FRESNO, Calif. (AP) -- Christian Villanueva hit a three-run home run in the top of the 10th inning to help lead the El Paso Chihuahuas to an 11-7 win over the Fresno Grizzlies on Tuesday.


The home run by Villanueva scored Rafael Ortega and Diego Goris. Later in the inning, El Paso added an insurance run when Carlos Asuaje scored on a double by Hector Sanchez.


The Grizzlies tied the game 7-7 in the eighth when Colin Moran hit a two-run home run.


Sanchez homered twice, doubled and singled, driving home four runs and scoring a couple in the win. Tony Cruz singled four times.


Logan Bawcom (1-3) got the win in relief while Reymin Guduan (4-4) took the loss in the Pacific Coast League game.
