Second Wind 5K registration open

Sign-ups for the Second Wind 5K have already begun. Sign up to run or walk in the only sanctioned 5K in Madera at runsignup.com/Race/CA/Madera/SecondWind5k.

The race will be held at the Madera Speedway and will begin at 8 a.m. March 25.

The fee to sign up is $20 until Jan. 27 and runners can go to website to complete registration.

There will also be a kids mini sprint for children ages 2-10. The cost is $15 until March 6. Registration will also be taken at the website.
