Authors, artists day to be Saturday

Local Authors and Artists Day and a Friends of the Madera County Library used book sale will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Madera County Library, 121 N. G St.

More than 30 local authors will be on hand to meet the public, sell and sign their books and discuss their work.

Paintings and other creations of local artists will be on display.

Friends of the Madera County Library president Lynda Shafhauser said a treasure hunt with prizes also will be held, as will a raffle.
