January 25, 2017

FRESNO, Calif. (AP) — Authorities say a police car crashed into another vehicle in central California, injuring two children.

Clovis police Sgt. Jim Munro said that a Fresno police officer was driving with his sirens on when he struck a vehicle in Clovis on Tuesday afternoon. Munro says the 5- and 10-year-old children had minor injuries and were not taken to a hospital.

Both vehicles sustained major damage.

Munro says no one has yet been called at fault.
