Four blood drives ahead

Central California Blood Center will be in Madera at four different times and places this month to accept donations to help San Joaquin Valley patients in need of transfusions.

A blood drive will be Monday at Madera Unified School District, 1902 Howard Road, from 2 to 4:30 p.m., according to Priscilla Cullers from the center.

The next will be 2 to 5 p.m. Nov. 18 at Madera Community Hospital, 1250 E. Almond Ave.

A third will be at Madera Irrigation District, 12152 Road 28 1/4, from 2 to 4:30 p.m. Nov. 21.

The final scheduled drive this month will be at Eastern Star Madera, 123 South B St., from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Nov. 28.
