Morgan Pelowski

October 8, 2016

Morgan Pelowski is 13 years old and a fourth-year member of Spring Valley 4-H Club.

She currently holds the office of club treasurer for the second year, and is involved in rabbit, sheep and swine projects in which she shows market pigs, market lambs and rabbits at local county fairs.

“When I first got into rabbits, I had to learn all about them so I could take care of each one and raise them properly,” she said, “and I wanted to be very successful in my rabbit breeding program. I knew it would be a lot of hard work and I was willing to put in the time and do what it takes with each of my projects.

“I wanted to help other 4-H members as well, so I became a junior leader in the rabbit project. I help answer questions and teach them how to properly show and groom them.

“4-H has taught me how to be responsible, dedicated, a hard worker, reliable and great leadership that will help me as I get older. 4-H has given me a lot of opportunities that help me develop skills that will stay with me the rest of my life.

“I can’t wait to see what this year of 4-H has in store for me.”
