MNLL closes out River Park

The Madera National 9-10-year-old All-Star team scored a run in the final four innings for a 7-2 victory over River Park National to advance in the District 10 All-Star tournament.

Madera National scored two runs in the third, a run in the fourth and two each in the fifth and sixth inning to record its third straight win in the double-elimination tournament Thursday at Madera National.

Dylan Whiteman led the Madera All-Stars on the mound and at the plate. He picked up the win, tossing five innings of four-hit ball. He allowed one earned run with eight strikeouts and walked one. He also went 2-for-3 at the plate with two runs, a double and two RBIs.

Shane Noe also went 2-for-4 with a run and two RBIs with a triple. Ivan Flores also went 2-for-2 with a run and an RBI in the 11-hit attack...
