Madera County crimes for June 3-5

The Madera County Sheriffs Office responded to incidents from June 3 to 5. June 3 5:23 p.m. — Deputy was dispatched to the intersection of Avenue 17 and State Route 99 in Madera regarding a single-vehicle accident resulting in a death. Case forwarded to Madera County chief coroner. June 4 10:19 a.m. — Deputy was dispatched to the block of 54000 Road 432 (Pines Resort) regarding two dogs in a vehicle. The owner arrived and the dogs were determined to be all right. He did have an outstanding warrant. He was cited and released. The report was closed.

10:58 a.m. — Deputy was dispatched to the 39000 block of Robin Way regarding an attempt to break into a home. The suspects did not get inside and nothing was missing. The electrical panel was removed and the power was turned off. The victim requested a report for documentation...
