Pregnant woman charged with manslaughter

A Clovis woman, Candice Ooley, 23, is facing charges of manslaughter in Madera County for her role in a car crash that killed a Lemoore man between Coarsegold and Oakhurst.

Her arraignment took place Tuesday in Madera County Superior Court.

Ooley was arrested Friday night after her 2014 Chevrolet Cruze, reportedly ran into the back of a 2006 Hummer H3 driven by Mauricio Lourenco of Lemoore while northbound on State Route 41.
