Coyotes battle in Div. II meet

The Madera Coyote boys swim team wrapped up its season this weekend participating in Div. II championships at Sunnyside High School in Fresno.

The 12 swimmers combined to place 15th in the Div. II championships.

The swimmers that qualified for the championship meet were freshman Christian Colomer, senior Jonathon Garnica, senior Ryan Martines, junior Jordon Martinez, junior Jovonie Martinez, senior Ricky Niino, junior P.J. Ornelas, junior Alex Rieping, sophomore Evan Salvatierra, sophomore Ernesto Solis, senior Carlos Velasco and junior Austin Wade.
