Stallions baseball rally for victory

The Madera South Stallions turned a tie ballgame into a three-run victory after a sixth-inning rally against San Joaquin Memorial-Fresno.

The Stallions (14-11, 6-6 CMAC) rallied to claim sole possession of third place in the County/Metro Athletic Conference after Tuesday’s 5-3 victory.

Starting pitcher Ruben Sanchez allowed one run on five hits through the first four innings and struck out four, but received a no-decision. He also had two hits and scored two runs in the lead-off spot.
