I would like to thank the Madera Tribune and Leon Emo for the article on Trona, Calif., on March 30. After the article appeared I received a call from a man who had lived in Trona at the time I lived there.

Last week was interesting when two people asked me why I was picketing with the teachers union and was not protecting Madera Unified School District. I looked at them puzzled and in disbelief.
