Here we are after the horrific knife attack in Pennsylvania which left 22 people injured, most of whom are high school students.
I attended the Madera Ranchos candidate forum for Supervisor District 1 earlier this month. I was impressed with the turnout, as there appeared to be about 100 people at Ranchos Middle School for the event.
Many thanks to the wonderful group of volunteers who “painted our town purple” on Monday! Not only do the ribbons look lovely, but they honor those who have had cancer and those we have lost to the disease.
