My name is Rosalie. I had a good life or at least I thought I did. My husband and I made a business here in Madera and worked hard for the past 20 years. Then cancer came knocking at our door.
After reviewing the Feb. 24 school board agenda, I was concerned when I saw the closed session item, superintendent and employee discipline/dismissal/release.
That person who called about the vape shop being put in the paper, they are correct. That story should not even have been put in the paper. What’s next?
We are writing to express concern about the availability of e-cigarettes in our community. Although traditional cigarette usage among youth has dropped, youth usage of e-cigarette usage has not.
The Madera Unified School District is practicing good fiscal stewardship by setting aside monies in our Fund 41 (New Construction) and Fund 40 (Capital Improvements).
Most of us must make accommodations when we are called for jury duty. We are willing to briefly change our everyday lives to do our share for the community.
