Despite pleas from those with common sense, Daylight Saving Time began Sunday, and will last until Nov. 3. I don’t know about you, but I already can feel the effects.
This is the weekend to switch to Daylight Savings Time. I find the biannual time change annoying, my husband really hates it. “Just leave it alone!” he rants whenever the subject comes up.
Today Catholic cardinals of the world have gathered in Rome for an event of historic proportions.
It is so. My birthday has arrived.

The Madera Unified School District Board of Trustees did the right thing when it decided to end its search for a new superintendent and start anew.
