Tee time: Congrats to Lowell Stone, former country-western singer from Bakersfield. Singing and playing guitar he was good at, but making golf courses fun and playable is his forte.
A tip of the hat to those who worked so hard to put on Saturday’s chili cook-off at the fairgrounds, but I have a question: Where was the chili?
