Thank goodness June is over. My dad used to tell me about the Giants and their infamous June swoon that seemed to happen every few years. Well, it’s been a few, but it happened again this year.

Finally, school was out. It was mid-June, and I would be a big senior at Madera High when classes started again. It was time for summer fun. We dragged main (Yosemite Avenue) all day.
