For The Madera Tribune
After celebrating 11 a.m. Mass on Jan. 27, 2008, Bishop John T. Steinbock leads congregants across the street to Holy Spouses Hall to bless the completed addition to St. Joachim School and kick off the celebration of Catholic School Week. Alumnus Angelo Massetti was honored at the Mass as the "Distinguished Graduate" of 2008. He graduated from the one-room schoolhouse as the first generation of Massettis to attend the school.
