I have lived in the City of Madera for the past 23 years and during the past 11 years I have known Michael Kime, our former City of Madera Chief of Police, on both a business and personal level. I want to start by stating that in my opinion Mike is the only Madera County sheriff’s candidate that is fully qualified to fill the position and will successfully manage the department to higher levels of achievement and community protection.

Mike brings 45 years of field, training, and administrative law enforcement experience to the sheriff’s position. I know that he is a man of high intellect, personal integrity, and honesty, and has demonstrated his ability to run an effective and efficient law enforcement operation as he did while he was the City of Madera Chief of Police. Mike is the “poster boy” for what a candidates credentials for Sheriff should be. Just read his bio on his website at http://kime4sheriff .com/bio.html.

Mike has shared with me many ideas he has to improve safety and protection for county residents and businesses, as well as how he would address budgetary issues and work within annual budgets established between the Sheriff’s Department and the Madera County Board of Supervisors.

That being stated, I would encourage you to write or call Mike at the following: kimeforsheriff at gmail.com or 416-9473. He will share his vision with you and answer your questions, as well as meet with you or any civic group.

Give yourself, your family, your friends, and the rest of us who live in Madera County a great gift by voting Mike into office in June. Feel free to forward this email along to others in Madera County.

By the way, for those that might question Mike’s physical qualifications he still plays a pretty mean game of racquetball.
