My name is Paula Simental Chapa, and I am saddened with the editor who put me on the headlines on Tues., Nov. 5. Not considering the fact that my dad’s death was recent. His obituary was in your paper. And not to mention I feel my rights have been violated because I have not even been convicted yet, and even if convicted, I was only using my I.D. to take in the property, not knowing it was stolen, if ever stolen.

So where do they get we were digging up irrigation pipes? And to say it was behind meth, another false accusation.

But what bothers me the most is how my family is going to see those false accusations in your paper which your editor doesn’t even have the facts or evidence to support what is being said.

My family doesn’t need to be reading that after the loss in our family.

I’m really disappointed for them putting an innocent person out there like that.

Paula Simental Chapa,
Madera
