Michelle Obama, daughters and entourage flew via Air Force II to Belfast, Ireland for a brief visit with the President June 17 as he was attending the G8 conference.

Michelle and daughters then flew to Dublin and spent the night in a $3,300 per night room at the 5 star Shelbourne Hotel. While in Dublin they were to visit the Trinity College Library to explore President Obama’s family roots, attend a performance of the Riverdance Troupe and visit a national forest.

Does anybody see any diplomatic significance to their trip?

I see a quick little vacation on our money before they travel with the president later this month to Africa, which will purportedly cost us taxpayers $60 to $100 million.

But they don’t have the money to provide White House tours.
