Many thanks to the wonderful group of volunteers who “painted our town purple” on Monday! Not only do the ribbons look lovely, but they honor those who have had cancer and those we have lost to the disease.
New Harvest Christian Fellowship took their skills to Gateway Drive and Yosemite Avenue. Team Awareness “purplized” Howard Road and our amazing Leos club made Cleveland Avenue look wonderful!
There is still time to get involved in this year’s Relay For Life on May 3-4. You may register a team, yourself, or as a survivor at: relayforlife.org/maderaca.
One regular meeting is left before the event and is this Monday, April 21, at 6 p.m. Meeting is at Department of Social Services, 720 E. Yosemite Ave. Please join us as we work together to “Finish the Fight”!
