As a member of both the Madera Downtown Association and the Madera Kiwanis Club I would like to thank David Randall and his Public Works staff for changing out the winter banners on Yosemite Avenue last month.

The green banners celebrating agriculture are now matching the smaller ag banners the Kiwanis Club has put up around downtown. I also would like to commend Brian Massetti for his valiant but unsuccessful effort to change them out for us.

SAVE THE DATE: Dec. 5 for the Madera Downtown Association’s and the Madera Kiwanis Club’s annual Candlelight Christmas, Tractor Parade and Wine Stroll. Come out to watch the light parade (or enter your vehicle with a minimum of 100 lights), sample fine wines from our local vintners and have light appetizers at our participating businesses. It’s Madera’s biggest holiday party, not to be missed.

Rochelle Minneti Noblett,
Madera
