I want to thank all the extraordinary people who volunteered on Love Madera Day, April 27. The team that volunteered at the Madera County Library did such an outstanding job that I just can’t say thank you enough.
Many of the volunteers were from the Yosemite Christian Center and had helped spruce up the library last year. This year they hauled out old shelves, sorted and moved books, cleaned books, and wiped down tables and computers with Clorox wipes. The outdoor team planted flowers, pruned rose bushes and placed some lovely yard art on the patio.
It was a labor of love and the library certainly felt the love from the community that day. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if we could share love like that every day? Love Madera has the big heart and strong shoulders to really make a difference in our city. To all those who participated: Bless you!
