The Madera NAACP Branch 1084 and Youth Unit 1739 celebrated our Black History Month Program on Feb. 16, and I would like to congratulate all the wonderful performances given by our youth, grades kindergarten through high school, along with the Fresno State NAACP mistress and master of ceremonies and the narrator.
I must also include the parent participants in the program and all the wonderful volunteers. This was truly a joint effort by all and the program was an overwhelming success. The attendees were truly inspired and educated of our Black History and I believe it will be even more successful next year with more youth and parents asking how they can be involved in 2014. Our Black History Program was truly highly educational, highly entertaining, and highly encouraging.
Stay informed of when our 2014 program will start through the Madera NAACP Branch 1084 website at www.maderanaacp1084.org or contact maderanaacp at yahoo.com. Thank each of you again and see you next year.
