So somebody doesn’t accuse me of plagiarism, I took some of this from a London newspaper article written by Dale McFeatters of the Scripps Howard News Service.

He stated that President Obama showed up at the G20 summit in London with everything but the proverbial kitchen sink. The British press was entranced by the sheer size of Obama’s entourage, and no wonder. Obama arrived with 500 staff in tow, including 200 Secret Service agents, a team of six doctors, the White House chef and kitchen staff with the president’s own food and water. Must be something wrong with England’s food and water.

He also came with 35 vehicles, including the “beast” that he rides in, four speech writers and 12 teleprompters. Now, how many planes did it take to get all these people and equipment there at taxpayer expense? Don’t ask, I have no clue.

I do know this president spends more taxpayer money than any president in history and every president needs his security, communications and other support. I thought he was trying to show the world that the U.S. is more humble. Like me, I don’t think many of you saw this in the U.S. media.
