Spectacular skating seen in dazzling duets

The latest Disney On Ice tour to stop in the Valley serves as a family vacation — with stops in Africa, Under the Sea, Hawaii, London and Neverland — condensed into two hours.

Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy and Goofy serve as travel companions as audience members go on a Disney adventure on ice, complete with glittering costumes, larger-than-life props and a soundtrack of classic Disney songs and rock hits.

The vacation begins with the story of The Lion King, complete with friends Pumbaa, Timon, and Rafiki.

Some of the best figure skating is seen in the African savannah, where Simba and Nala delight the crowd with incredible stunts, breathtaking spins and dangerous lifts. Audience members literally hold their breath as Simba holds his partner with one hand and spins, Nala’s face and body nearly skimming the ice...
