In all the experiences of life, there does not seem to be anything that makes a person feel more alive and complete than giving, be it giving of time, emotional support or possessions.

As we have mentioned several times over the years, the Hinds Hospice Thrift Shop is an excellent example of this experience. Everyone involved reaps the benefits or rewards of giving. Volunteering, donating or purchasing items from the shop not only helps provide the needed funds to help support the hospice program which enables families to stay together at home through a terminal illness, but also gives the donor the opportunity to reap their own personal rewards.

Donating unused items, from a piece of clothing to a piece of furniture, is what keeps this whole process going, and in turn impacts so many lives in a good way.

You will not hear a thank you from all that are touched, but you will most definitely feel it in your heart. Thank you from the hospice team.
