Sgt. Javier Magana, Madera High School graduate, has served seven years with the Marines. He was one of the few Marines chosen to be with President Obama last week in Las Vegas, Nev.
He is presently stationed at Miramar Marine Corps air station in San Diego, and has been a jet mechanic for the past five years.
He plans to make the military service his chosen career.
Javier’s 27th birthday was Jan. 31. Happy birthday, Javier. God bless you and thank you for your service to our country.
