I can hardly wait until Fridays for the next chapter of the Italian immigrant experience by Bill Coate.

I enjoyed the book on the Chowchilla kidnapping which The Madera Tribune serialized last year.

I also read another local man’s book, “Jesse’s Ghost.” I worked with Bergon’s mom, nursing in the 1960s. Now I look forward to Bill’s work.
