First of all, Happy Mother’s Day. You deserve it. After all the hard work you do for me and the family, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Even though we have our arguments, I know that all you want to do is to protect me. I can be a handful, and so can your other daughters, but you manage to spread your love equally to all of us.

I admire your strength and endurance throughout all the hardships. No matter what happens, you always seem to have a smile on your face. If any of us become half the woman you are, we will be the luckiest daughters in the world; we already are though, because we have you as our mom, we have you as our guardian, and we have you as our role model. We love you.

No one else can possibly be the perfect fit to be the mother of this crazy family we have. I feel safe with you, I can trust you, and I just unconditionally love you. And I know that you unconditionally love us from the moment you conceived each of us.

Your kind heart brightens my day and I hope you know that. We will always be your little girls. Thank you for supporting me in my music career, if it weren’t for you I wouldn’t have gotten this far. You are my No. 1 supporter, and I couldn’ t ask for a better one. You’re the reason for almost everything good in my life — heck, you gave me my life. I just wanted to thank my mother, Mariel Lumactod, for always being there, always working hard, and always staying true to her pure heart. I love you, Mommy. Happy Mother’s Day!

Rachel Lumactod,
