President Obama set the trend for campaigning and administering his important speeches with his tie off, collar unbuttoned and his shirt sleeves rolled up. I suppose it is to give the impression that he is just a fellow hardworking “middle class” guy who is ready to get down to business ... and work in the garden?

I see now that Mitt Romney has succumbed to the same pressures and is dressing down as well. Why are we breeding a society that is offended by a person who is successful and dresses as such? Personally, I want the President and presidential candidate to be prosperous businessmen before they are ever politicians.

Poor Romney is being kicked by the liberal media because his hard work has made him a millionaire. Have we become a society where one should be punished because he is successful? Wasn’t the American dream all about bettering yourself and your family so the next generation could outdo you?

I say tout your successes and dress to look like a million bucks, maybe you will inspire the young to aim high and not settle for “middle class”.
