This is to the people who pulled into my yard on Nov. 6, hooked up to my husband’s boat, drove it to Parkwood and stripped it. I know you’re probably not employed, have a drug problem or maybe you just needed a boat motor. Whatever your motives were there are a few things I would like to say to you.

I know you don’t care and you probably don’t get the paper, maybe you can’t even read. I know you’re laughing about how you gained something without paying for it and that’s what makes me feel sorry for you. Let me tell you why.

You see, people like you are everywhere, you’re a dime a dozen these days. You think everyone owes you, you take what you can’t afford because you’re lazy. I thank God every day for giving me such a wonderful husband. You see, he works for what he gets and works hard. I have always been a stay-at-home mother, that was my job. Together we have raised a beautiful child who is in college pursuing her Ph.D. That’s something you will never do. You will always be a nobody going nowhere and I’m sorry for that.

It’s just a shame your parents didn’t love you or believe in you enough to give you the chances you (might have) deserved. You stole something important to my husband, something he worked hard for and saved for many years to get. I hope you enjoy it.

Donna Eddings,
Madera
