The sun has momentarily ceased to shine for Greg Hummel, daughters Michelle, Martha, Margot, their husbands, all Greg's grandchildren, friends and family, near and far.

Joan Hummel, born 16 July 1930 in Montreal, Quebec, was reborn in Heaven 1 September 2007 at dawn.

A celebration of our Bright Stars life was held Friday 7 September at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, Arcata, followed by a reception in the hall.

Joan prefers that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to her favorite charity: The Fisher House, 1401 Rockville Pike, Suite 600, Rockville, MD 20852.
