What a successful athletic junior season it’s been for Madera South runner Eduardo Herrera.
Every time I drive past the old Borden Chinese cemetery on Avenue 12, I think of Man Wah Chan. He was buried there in 1890, but it took a while for his dust to settle peacefully.
I don’t know if every school in the district does this, but maybe they should.

About 30 cars and 70 people, from all over the U.S. and even Canada, drove up to the Madera County Museum on Wednesday from Monterey Bay as part of a journey to raise funds for children’s hospitals.
