New contract to begin March 1, 2016

The National Park Service issued a prospectus this week soliciting business proposals for overnight accommodations, food and beverage, retail, auto fuel, recreation activities, and other related services within Yosemite National Park.

The prospectus is available online at: /index.htm, or a printed copy is available by contacting NPS Commercial Services Specialist Kimberley Gagliolo via telephone at (415) 623-2227 or email at kim_gagliolo (at) There is a $50 fee for a printed copy of the prospectus.

The prospectus is open to all interested entities and offers must be received by 4 p.m. on Nov. 20. Offers should be sent to National Park Service Pacific West Regional Office, ATTN: Kimberly Gagliolo, NPS Commercial Services Specialist, at 333 Bush Street, Suite 500, San Francisco, California 94104.

The new concession contract is scheduled to begin on March 1, 2016, and will be issued for a term of 15 years. This is the park’s primary concession operation and the largest concession contract in the National Park System.
