A lot of things have changed since Emmett Purl opened the doors to Purl’s Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning in Madera in 1952.

The company is in a new location and has expanded its product line.

The field technicians use wireless tablets instead of paper receipt books.

And Purl’s son Michael took over the company in 1984 and operated it until Jan. 1, 2011 when the company was purchased by longtime employees Kurt Davidson and Brian Driggs...
