Maderans will have two opportunities to get free health tests and risk assessments this month as the Walgreens Way to Well Health Tour bus stops in town.

Anyone over 18 can stop by the Walgreens on Yosemite Avenue on Thursday or the Walgreens on Cleveland Avenue next Monday to get screened for cancer, heart disease and diabetes risks.

The Way to Well program offers participants more than $100 worth of health tests — including total cholesterol, glucose, blood pressure, body mass index, body composition, skeletal muscle, resting metabolism, visceral fat, real body age and body weight — for free.

Tests take approximately 20 minutes, then participants can talk to wellness staff members about their results...
