A county program dedicated to helping victims of crime honored those who help with their work on Friday.
The annual Victims’ Rights Ceremony — put on by Victim Services, which is part of Community Action Partnership of Madera County — drew about 50 people to Courthouse Park during lunch time.
Four individuals and a business were presented with awards by Tina Rodriguez, the program manager for Victim Services.
