A New Year’s Eve celebration organized by veterans drew more than 100 people to eat, dance and toast. The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1981 put on its second annual New Year’s Eve celebration in the VFW Hall on Tuesday.
Guests took professional photos, ate a steak dinner, danced to the music mixed by DJ El Matador, watched their raffle tickets for winners, and greeted 2014 at midnight.
Proceeds from the event benefit the post’s activities, said post commander Henry Arredondo.
