Vendors sell wares at Vintage Days

For some Madera County artists and crafters, Vintage Days — held annually on the Fresno State University campus — has become a hot spot for selling wares and gaining new clientele.

“I have quite a following here at Vintage Days,” said Dean Santini, a Coarsegold resident who has made leather bags and wallets for 18 years. “People walk around with bags that they bought from me here years ago.”

Vintage Days, which started Friday and ends Sunday, is a student-planned event that attracts over 50,000 locals each spring.

The Vintage Days Crafts Faire has been around for 37 years, giving more than a hundred vendors each year a chance to sell their handcrafted jewelry, home décor, toys, and more...
