Valley Bowl champs hope to repeat

The bowling leagues at Valley Bowl concluded the first half of their season and the respective champions are hoping to repeat in the second half to avoid a roll-off for the overall championship.

Valley Bowl hosts winter adult leagues for men, women, mixed leagues of two men and two women, and a senior league.

First half champions in the Monday Night Men’s League was the M&M Plumbing team of Shell Mensch, Tim Sprague, Bill Creamer and Josh Dockery. The Wednesday Night Mixed League champs were Alisha Taylor, Denise Pugliese, Jason Landis and Chris Pugliese bowling for the team Gutterly Ridiculous. The Friday Night Mixed League saw the O Spare Me team of Danette and Chem Cody, Jean Chouthourrou and Jim Karres earn the top spot.

The highly competitive Thursday Night Ladies League saw Shirley Clements, Sandy Lander, Darlene Crowell and Diana Davis of Clement’s Nuts roll to first place. In the Friday Senior League it was Team #7 with bowlers Sondra Dowdle, Inez Howes, Bill Barton and Harold Hamilton claiming number one for the first half...
