For many years in Oregon, Terry and Patti Hoban had a strong ambition to own their own bowling center. In fact, Terry had managed a bowling establishment in Springfield, Ore. A decade ago the couple began looking for a bowling establishment to purchase in the northwest, but to no avail.
“We decided to expand our horizons and we looked at Valley Bowl and made an offer,” said Patti.
In 2004, the deal went through and they became the new owners of Valley Bowl. They immediately began to make improvements to the old establishment that was originally called Parkwood Bowl, named after the shopping center built in the early 1960s.
