UPS launches fundraiser to send sick 3-year-old to Disneyland

Francisco, a 3-year-old Madera boy battling leukemia, wants nothing more than to go to Disneyland with hisfamily to meet Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck.

Local UPS Stores and United Postal Service employees this month are raising funds to donate to the Make-A-Wish Foundation to make Francisco’s wish come true.

“We want to raise the entire $6,000 and fund it allso that the Make-A-Wish Foundation doesn’t have to use any of its own money,” said UPS Co-op president Sheryl Ross.

Eleven UPS Stores in the Central Valley are working to raise at least $500 each to contribute to Francisco’s wish fund. It is the first fundraiser organized by the UPS Co-op, Ross said...
